Port of Long Beach

Developed and redesigned advertising campaign templates for the Port of Long Beach as part of an internal concept proposal presented to the Director of Communications. Following a blind review process, my direction was selected for implementation and later refined collaboratively for final rollout.

The approved campaign was executed across print placements including the Long Beach Business Journal and other industry publications, strengthening brand consistency and external communications strategy.

Created an international-facing marketing brochure highlighting the Port of Long Beach as the prime gateway for plastic resin exports to Asia. The design integrated route mapping, infrastructure data, and value propositions to communicate efficiency, scale, and connectivity to overseas stakeholders.

Developed for use at port-led trade events in Asia and the US, the piece supported global outreach efforts and strengthened the Port’s competitive positioning in export markets.

Designed the logo and custom cycling jersey for the “Green Wheelers,” the Port of Long Beach’s employee cycling club. The apparel was developed for direct to garment production, translating the Port’s environmental identity into a performance ready wearable design. The final piece was successfully produced and positively received by club members.

Developed a multi-channel advertising campaign to support the sale and redevelopment of a 5.6-acre property in Downtown Long Beach near the World Trade Center. The campaign included a print advertisement in the Long Beach Business Journal, a web advertisement, and supporting digital banner. The property sold ahead of projected timelines, contributing to the successful repositioning of a key asset for mixed-use redevelopment.

Campaign proposal for social media to celebrate the first day of summer while showcasing beauty shots of the Port and the City of Long Beach.

Short animations. The first one features the Holiday Card of 2017, the second video features an introductory graphic that was shown during the presentation of the “State of the Port”, the biggest event of the year at the Port of Long Beach with attendants from the trade industry, government and education, as well as trade experts from all over the world. It was intended to showcase and support the message of the Port’s future to zero emissions and all the accomplishments of 2016.
